Top awards come to the Borders
Baddingsgill Farm near West Linton has been recognised at the Scotland’s Finest Woods Awards 2024.
At a ceremony at the Scottish Parliament, the farm took the trophy in the Farm or Croft Woodlands Category. The judges described the 4000 acre farm as a fine example of diversified land management, where the farm woodlands were managed in an exemplary fashion – and noted the “commitment, enthusiasm, knowledge and experience” of the Marshall family, who have held Baddingsgill since 1912.
