The Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce announces that Trevor Jackson of Charlesfield Farm, St Boswells Fuels and Jackson Distillers has been appointed Interim Chair following the departure of Siobhan Petrie.
Trevor has been a board member since 2021 and has been Vice Chair from March. Trevor is the Founder of several businesses and is a champion for green industry, as well as a previous President and Chair of Melrose Rugby and the South East Region of Scottish Land and Estates. He is a well-known and respected member of the Borders business, agricultural and rugby communities.
Upon appointment Trevor said, “I am honoured to have been asked to take on this role. My aim is to build on the momentum created by previous Chairs and the Board. I look forward to hearing more from our members on what they want from their Chamber, which is why we are launching a full member survey. It is a privilege to be Interim Chair of the Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce and I relish the challenge of promoting Scottish Borders business.”
