The Scottish Borders Chamber of commerce are delighted to announce the shortlist for the 2024 “Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards”.
Thank you to all judges, sponsors and of course businesses who took the time to enter the SBBEA.
Proudly, 2024 saw a 50% rise in submissions from 2023, which had previously been another record breaking year and has led to some very tough decisions being made by the judges.

“It truly has been exciting and inspiring to see the breadth and depth of applications coming in this year. The Scottish Borders Business Excellence Awards truly is a fantastic representation of what our region has to offer- from small early stage entrepreneurs to enormous global businesses and it was clear to see from all applications what a community focus Borders businesses have!”
“Having been part of the judging for the past three years, this year has certainly presented us with some of our most challenging decisions to be made. We appreciate all the effort made by every business who takes the time out to enter and support the SBBEA.”
Voting is still open for the “Borders Best Business” category and will remain so until July 31st! This category is open to the public to either nominate their own business or one they believe deserves special recognition. There will be a winner from each of the four districts in the Borders, whom will then be entered into an overall award for the Borders Favourite Business 2024, with the winner announced on the night.
The glamorous black tie dinner, taking place at Peebles Hydro on Aug 30th 2024 is already half way to being sold out so please do note hesitate to buy your tickets and tables.
