She said: “I have been with Plexus since 2019, joining as a Financial Analyst and progressing to Senior Financial analyst in 2020. In 2021, I was offered the opportunity to branch out to our Market Sector team as the Market Analyst for the Europe-Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
This move pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to widen my understanding of the business. I was able to work closely with teams from Europe, the Americas and Asia, really collaborating to align the EMEA region with the global strategy. After a year in that development role, I was promoted to Finance Manager for our site in Kelso. I’m now learning how to lead a team and manage our people. My goal is to help develop my team and offer them as many opportunities as I can.
I have been married for a little less than 1 year. We have a lovely dog, that needs walked every morning. I am also studying the CIMA, with the goal to become a chartered accountant. I have found out that exercising is key to my mental health and try to work out at least 5 times a week.
I am French and when I moved to Scotland 6 years ago, to pursue a job opportunity, I started playing rugby. It was mainly to meet people in the Scottish Borders. I played for Kelso Ladies RFC for 4 years and met my closest friends, who became my bridesmaids, there. I also met my husband at the rugby club, while we were both playing for Kelso. I now play rugby for Corstorphine Cougars RFC (1XV and 2XV) which is a step up in intensity and commitment.
Trying to balance my rugby commitment, my study and my family life with a fast moving career definitely presents many challenges. What helps me is targeting work-life harmony. The support from my inner circle to accommodate all my commitments is essential to help me progress and keep looking forward.”
