The SBCC has added a new category to this year’s annual Scottish Borders Business Excellent Awards, with members of the public invited to vote for their favourite business.
The Chamber holds its annual awards night at the Peebles Hydro Hotel on August 30th and among the businesses joining the party this year are four district winners selected by you, the public, after we invited the public to take part in the voting.
We were inundated with nominations from across the Borders and the judging panel picked their winner for each of our districts, having sifted through hundreds of testimonials highlighting how local business people had gone above and beyond in their customer service, or in the quality of their products. The judges faced an extremely difficult choice, and will on the night pay tribute to all those who submitted entries and those who were nominated.
It was tremendous to see the support that exists across the region for local businesses and the dinner in Peebles promises to be a genuine celebration of all that is good about the Borders business landscape.
